Please note that the events listed here are those managed by folks we know; this list is by no means an exhaustive compilation of all that is going on. Sometimes events listed here are also publicised elsewhere, and unfortunately, we have had on occasion, some confusion over details. Please always refer back to the event organiser for final arrangements. The Postcards team is not responsible for changes to events.

Flora Trail

With so many influences over the years at the Airbase, our floral diversity is unusual, and unrecorded. A small group of enthusiasts will begin surveying the plants at Seletar Airbase on Saturday, 20th October. If you are interested in joining this project, please register at Flora Trail.

Unique T-shirts

The last Saturday of each month sees Isabelle conducting a 2-hour Art and Craft session, where you can pick up a new technique, or spend 2 relaxing hours with your child (or alone! )

Trees with Personality

While Isabelle’s monthly workshop rages in one corner of Haymarket, the rest of us will be seeking out trees that were planted to commemorate special events, and trees that have just acquired special features. Naming ceremony

The Trees with Personality programme will be inviting children of Singapore to participate and appreciate nature. Some of the more notable trees will be named, so they are easier to identify than ‘the tembusu in front of the casuarina, at the corner of Hampstead’. Join us for a fun filled day in mid-December as we acknowledge the role these trees play in the ambience that is uniquely Seletar. Email trees@postcardsfromseletar.com for more details.

Logistics School Farewell Party
